Recipe author: Niclas Luthman
Chocolate balls are a timeless favorite that both young and old love. Not only are they super tasty, they're also easy to throw together. Whether you want to make something quick for a snack or extra tasty for a snack, chocolate balls are always a safe bet. Here's a classic recipe for healthy chocolate balls with cocoa and oatmeal without added sugar that never fails.
INGREDIENTS
- 100 g butter
- 1 dl Use like sugar
- 4 tbsp Chocolate drink
- 1.5 dl oatmeal
- 1.5 dl coconut
- 3 tbsp Fiber Syrup
- 1-3 ml ground coffee, 3 ml for an adult coffee taste, 1 ml for a milder taste
- coconut for garnish
METHOD:
Start by leaving the butter out for a while to soften - this will make it easier to mix all the ingredients together. Once the butter is soft and pliable, place it in a large bowl. Then add all the dry ingredients, oats, cocoa and a pinch of salt for extra flavor. If you want a more grown-up flavor, spread a splash of cold coffee over the mixture - it really enhances the chocolate flavor.
Finally, pour the fiber syrup on top. The syrup adds a nice sweetness and contributes to the gooey texture. Mix thoroughly until everything is well distributed and you have a smooth batter without lumps. Now it's time for the fun part: shape the batter into small balls with your hands and then roll them in coconut flakes.
Simple, healthy and delicious!
