PUNSCHRULLE

Recipe author: Marja Folcke

Punschrulle or vacuum cleaner, whatever you call it, is a real pastry classic. This recipe is also sugar-free!

INGREDIENTS

Chocolate dough:

  • 70 g room temperature butter
  • 2 ½ dl almond flour
  • 1 dl grated coconut
  • ½ dl Use like sugar
  • 2 tbsp Chocolate drink
  • ½ tsp arrack flavoring
  • about 1-2 tsp of vanilla powder

Almond paste:

  • 75 g butter
  • 4 dl almond flour
  • ½ dl Use like sugar
  • 1 ½ tbsp. fiber husk

METHOD:

Chocolate dough
Mix all the ingredients and form twelve small lengths of this. Leave to rest in the fridge while making the almond paste.

Almond pulp
Mix the ingredients for the almond pulp, let it stand cold for a few minutes. Then place the dough between two pieces of baking paper and roll out into an oblong square (not too thin), remove the top paper. Carefully coat the small chocolate lengths with the mixture. Feel free to help with the baking paper the almond paste is rolled out on, as otherwise the almond paste can easily crack. If the almond paste breaks, it is easy to smooth it over with your fingers.

Chocolate
Melt the chocolate, preferably in a small bowl (which makes it easier to get the chocolate on the edges of the vacuum cleaner), and dip the vacuum cleaner in it. Leave to set in the fridge on a plate with baking paper. Also store in the fridge.
