Recipe Saffron Fudge

Toffee with the golden color of saffron. Perfect to serve on the coffee table at Christmas or as a gift!



Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the cream, syrup, saffron and Use like sugar. Stir well and cook for 1.5 hours until the caramel becomes chewy and delicious and passes the test. Line a tray with baking paper and pour over the caramel. Leave to set at room temperature, preferably overnight. Cut the caramel into small oblong bars and twist three times. Roll each piece in baking paper, otherwise they will stick together.
