VANILLA ICE CREAM WITH STRAWBERRY SAUCE

Creamy vanilla ice cream with strawberry sauce - perfect for hot summer days, or why not as a dessert for Sweden's national day?

INGREDIENTS

• 0,5 dl Use like sugar
• 500 g strawberries
• 1 dl water
• 2 tsp lime zest
• 1 pc vanilla ice cream

METHOD:

Boil water, Use like sugar and lime zest. Chop the strawberries and add them to the pot. Boil the strawberries for about 5-7 minutes at medium temperature. When the strawberries are soft
blend the sauce in a food processor to a smooth sauce. Serve the sauce with vanilla ice cream and top with fresh strawberries.
