WHY DON'T WE HAVE EMPTY CARBOHYDRATES LIKE WHEAT IN OUR PRODUCTS?
Our entire range is wheat-free. Some are also gluten-free. Not because it's trendy, but because wheat quickly becomes a sugar in the body. Wheat is made up of long chains of glucose, which is a sugar that the body breaks down just like regular sugar.
Wheat and other 'empty carbohydrates' therefore cause your blood sugar to rise quickly. Frequent and sharp fluctuations in blood sugar levels are bad for your health and we want to avoid that.
As for gluten-free, we wish all the factories we use never made anything but our products. Unfortunately, there may now be traces of gluten in some products, as the factories in many cases manufacture products for other companies.
