DO YOU USE PALM OIL IN YOUR PRODUCTS?
Nope, we do not use palm oil in any of our products today.
Since autumn 2018, we have been using only vegetable oil from shea, coconut and sunflower.Opinions on palm oil differ widely and the debate is complex. Despite the fact that there is an RSPO certification that the vast majority of palm oil food producers use, it is still the case that a lot of rainforest is being destroyed due to palm oil plantations, mainly in large parts of Indonesia such as Malaysia. From an environmental aspect, however, palm oil is a very surface-efficient oil that requires significantly less area than producing the same amount of oil from e.g. coconut or canola.We have chosen to use vegetable oils other than palm oil precisely because we have the opportunity.
We know that our consumers appreciate it and then it is a matter of course for us to listen to them!
