  • 150 g dark chocolate
  • 100 g butter
  • 2/3 dl Use Like Sugar
  • ½ dl whipped cream

    METHOD:

    Step 1. Chocolate balls:

Put all the ingredients in a bowl, the butter in smaller pieces. Choose if you want to add water or if you want to use coffee for a more adult flavor. Mix all the ingredients together with an electric whisk until it has become a firm, sticky and dough-like consistency. Use your hands to roll the dough into balls. Then roll the balls in the coconut flakes and place in the refrigerator to set.

    Step 2. sponge cake:

Set the oven to 175 degrees. Heat the butter and pieces of chocolate in a bowl in the microwave for 30 seconds, then stir and put the bowl in for another 30 seconds. Next, stir the chocolate and butter until it reaches a smooth consistency. Then pour in the remaining ingredients. Clamp a piece of baking paper to the bottom of a 20 cm springform pan. Grease the bottom and edges with a little butter, then pour the batter evenly into the pan. Bake in the middle of the oven for about 15-20 minutes. The sponge cake should still be sticky when taken out. Leave to cool.

    Step 3: Chocolate filling:

Melt the chocolate together with the cream (Dark chocolate or Milk chocolate). A tip is to do this in a pan over a water bath to make sure it doesn't burn. Leave to cool for a little while.

Step 4. Assembling the chocolate ball cake:

Spread the chocolate filling evenly over the entire sponge cake. Before the chocolate has time to set on the cake, place the chocolate balls on top. Then drizzle extra melted chocolate over the chocolate balls.

Voilá! You've made a chocolate ball sponge cake with no added sugar. Enjoy with a cup of coffee.
