METHOD:
Chocolate balls:
Put all the ingredients in a bowl, the butter in smaller pieces. Mix together with an electric whisk. Make balls out of the dough and roll in grated coconut. Store in the fridge.
Sponge cake:
Set the oven to 175 degrees. Heat butter and pieces of chocolate in the microwave for about 30 seconds, stir and then another 30 seconds in the microwave. Stir to a smooth consistency and pour in the other ingredients. Clamp a piece of baking paper to the bottom of a 20 cm springform pan. Grease the bottom and edges, then spread the batter evenly in the pan. Bake in the middle of the oven for about 15-20 minutes. The cake should still be sticky when removed. Leave to cool.
Chocolate filling:
Melt chocolate together with cream (dark or milk chocolate) and spread over the cake. Before the chocolate hardens, place the chocolate balls on top. Sprinkle extra melted chocolate over the chocolate balls for a yummy look! ]
